So yeah, packing…

It is now 20:45 as of the time of beginning this post.

There is no suitcase in sight.

On the plus side, I do have everything that I need even though I had run to kmart and stuff at the last minute for an alarm clock and some extra stuff.

Also, my clothes have been freshly laundered and are just waiting to be sorted and folded into either my suitcase or my storage bins.

I visited Haverford for the last time in a long while today. Sooo many froshies running amok (okay, so it was more like they were sashaying amok). I had to bum off of a friend's guest swipe because I was too embarassed to ask for a free meal ticket. The cheesesteak and fries meal was sort of worth it though. I did manage to get a mango water ice that was supposed to taste like cantaloupe according to quite a few people who have told the servers exactly that afterwards.

I like cantaloupe. I sorta like mango. So I couldn't have lost with this deal.

It was mushy and weird tasting. It's sad to think that this would be the last time I'll be able to eat authentic water ice for a while.

Everything today was all about that. The last time "insert" for a while.

The last time I'll have a homecooked meal by mommy for a while.

The last time I can drive a car for a while.

The last time I will be able to call and see my friends for a while.

The last time I can use the internet as conveniently as I like for a while.

The last time I can watch Mythbusters, Family Guy, South Park, or any other American show on TV for a while.

The last time I can confidently say that I have everything on hand for a while. (people who know me know that I'm notorious for being a packrat/jewish mom who's ready to fix any situation with random stuff in my bag or on my person)

Although I was not dressed up today, today is the last time in which I have the freedom to do so. I already mentioned this in my first post, but it really is not something to be considered insignificant. I grew a lot as a person and learned so much about myself in this past year because of it with much thanks to a wonderful girlfriend and awesome circle of supportive friends.

Geez, I got nostalgic all of the sudden. I haven't gotten weepy yet, but I will say that I will miss everyone's voices faces, so for my sake, don't change them. =)

Alright, time to attempt to pack. And do my nails, and then re-attempt to pack.

Hey, at least I'm realistic about my goals. I'm not sure when my next post will be, but I'll write drafts and post them when I can.
